The STEEL FUSION name seemed automatic and practical to KENNY WILLIAMS, an excellent
steel pan musician from TRINIDAD & TOBAGO who
traveled and performed extensively through
various regions around the world.

In Trinidad, where the steel pan (drums) originated, Kenny played professionally for more than twenty years. He was also a former member of the Desperadoes Steel Orchestra - one of the country's best and world renowned orchestras.

After migrating to the US in the mid 80's, Kenny Williams formed his steel pan group out of the desire to continue exposing the unique instruments to society and to upgrade the awareness of the art form. The goal was to fuse steel drums with conventional bass and keyboard to create a fusion in sound. The group continues to move many fortunate audiences who capture their performances.

The Steel Fusion Band has been featured during CONCERTS, FESTIVALS AND AMUSEMENT PARKS! The Group incorporates African Dancers performing The Limbo Dance, The Fire Dance, Broken Glass Dances, and many more ethnic dances upon request!

A fun filled, cultural experience, the Steel Fusion Band also conducts Steel Drum workshops, Seminars and is available for year round Institutional Appearances.
